Our purpose first and foremost is to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. How we do that is by equipping the saints:
- Through expositional teaching of the word of God. Expositonal teaching focuses on explaining the meaning of Scripture in its historical and grammatical context. We teach through the Bible chapter-by-chapter and verse-by-verse in order to provide the saints of God with the whole counsel of God. We teach through both the Old Testament and the New Testament.
- Through Christ-centered worship of God. Christ-centered worship focuses on Christ's sacrifice for our sin and victorious resurrection from the dead. Therefore our worship is about rejoicing in Christ's finished work on the cross, praising Him with thankful and loving hearts for His Love, Grace, and Mercy through hymns, choruses, and contemporary worship. Our worship is not a performance for the congregation, but a way for people to corporately join together in glorifying Jesus.
- Through fellowship with the saints of God. Our church is a family-friendly environment with people of all ages in attendance. We believe that the local church exists to be there for one another. We share meals together, sometimes work together, and yes, even play together. The Bible tells us to rejoice with those that rejoice and weep with those that weep, therefore we seek to be there for one another in the times of great happiness, but also in the times of great struggles and grief.
- Through prayer for the saints of God. We believe it is vital to be praying and interceding for one another. We encourage the saints to seek prayer from one another as well as pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters throughout the world and to lift up the missionaries we support.
